- The Farm -
Nestled miles outside of town, Caotic Acres takes pride in its state-of-the-art facilities and top-notch equines, be it in the show ring, on the trails or in the bloodlines.
New clients were her favorite part of the day. Though she'd once practically hissed at every passerby, getting to know other owners - people who looked at others for their horsemanship and achievements, not for their past - was something refreshing and simple.
"Welcome!" Trisha would grin and shake their hand when they stepped from their cars. "Thank you so much for coming to Caotic Acres today. Before we talk business, I'd like to show you around a bit. I think you'll like what you see."
The tour was her favorite part. Over the years, what began as a single barn and some pasures had grown considerably. Though she shared the grand 40-horse barn with others, it felt very much like her's. Walking past rows of equines, from her finely-bred training charges to her nieces' and nephews' raggamuffin ponies, she would tell her guests all about the way the barn was tended to, and the horses cared for, on a near-constant basis when necessary. Stepping from the barn aisle to the mulch path, she pointed out the acres and acres of lush pasture and the 150ft x 250ft indoor arena. It had taken considerable bribing to get it done on the land, but the multi-purpose ring with Tapeta footing, big windows and doors for good weather, and a moveable roundpen area was infinitely preferrable to the flat pasture that had become the outdoor jump field. She would point toward the entrance of the woods on the eastern edge of the barns, where the path disappeared into the trees. Just out of sight was the beginning of an extensive, multi-path and all-level cross-country course, as well as miles of trails.
"Pretty much anything you want us to do, we can," Trish said, leading her company back to her cozy in-barn office. "I've been riding since before I could walk, and training for over twenty years. We're very proud of what our farm produces, both in breeding and in the show ring. We're happy to have you here at Caotic Acres."

- The Rules -
Please read these general guidelines before contacting about business matters. These are just basic ideas, and may be tweaked over time.
- Please note me for questions, breed/sale/trade queries and other major things. I am more likely to see these, and it keeps me organized!
- Caotic Acres is a primarily realistic farm. Thus, we will breed our realistic horses to only realistic lines, and expect at least mostly-logical products from breedings with our stallions. If you have any questions about genetics, please do not hesitate to ask!
- When looking into a breeding, please look at the specific guidelines to each horse, located in their stats which can be found on my journal entries AND each horse's image. The basic format will be to send me, ~perididdle a note with the following information on each mare (and any more you would like to provide!) and following HARPG rules:
Name:
Gender:
Breed:
Age:
Height:
Color:
Markings:
Discipline:
Passible Traits/Genotype:
Bloodlines:
Other:
- I'm very excited about joining this registry, and am happy to take a look at any breedings, sales or trades anyone is interested. Please remember, however, that I am mostly interested in realistic lines.
- The brand that each Caotic Acres bred horse carries, HLL, is expressly for horses bred by this farm. Hors-la-loi, meaning 'outlaw' in French, calls back on character roots. It is requested that you do not use this brand on any horse, even if it is bred from Caotic Acres, without first requesting and receiving permission.</center>
